“ This grocery store has about everything that you can think of for selection. They have a few aisles of organic, selection of alcoholic beverages, bakery, and regular grocery items. This Acme is huge and it is very clean. ”
“ The produce was great, the gluten-free selection was okay, the gluten-free beer options were-- well, when I asked about GF beer the response was a blank stare. This Acme is not in my usual path, but I was unhappy with the grapes at Manchester and was willing to travel in search of sweetness and bite. The GF offerings were not enough for me to live on unless I was going to cook everything from scratch, but I did discover Papp's: local pickles that made me happy. It's great to explore other stores if you have a chance. Acme to Acme for instance, produce, meat, and bulk goods can vary. This store was clean and despite many people being there to shop at the time (the store might have been close to capacity, something I seldom see) the spacious aisles allowed plenty of social distancing room. ”
“ Nice new clean and convenient store. Oftentimes better prices and specials than nearby Market District. ”
“ They have a nice lunch area that has quite a few grab and go items. The fried chicken and jojoes is my normal when i visit. Sometimes is can be a bit dry but good overall. ”
“ I wish I had an acme in Columbus. I love their beer area as well as the clean look to the place. I also like that my daughter can ride a horse for a dime while I grab a beer or some bulk foods. They have decent prices as long as you have an acme card. They also have a nice area to sit and eat or just grab a coffee while you wait for your wife. ”
“ I've really enjoyed shopping at this Acme location. They have a much larger selection of organic and ethnic foods than some of the other grocery stores. They also have very fresh produce and the store itself is very clean. I highly recommend this particular Acme location. ”
“ The new Acme in Green is actually pretty great. They have a lot of natural and organic options I'm not used to seeing in other Acme stores. There is a machine where you can grind your own cashew, almond and peanut butter. There is a set up for filling your own honey bear with local honey. There's even a section for organic spices that you can buy only as much as you need. It has a variety of spices that you'd normally have to go to a specialty store for, such as pink salt and pink peppercorns. There is an entire wall of dry goods with six different kinds of granola, raw nuts, dried fruits, and pretty much anything else you could ever want to add to a trail mix. This store shows me they are paying attention to what customers are looking for, and it has encouraged me to give Acme another chance. The prices are on par with other chains in the area, with one exception, their sale prices are much lower than the sales I've seen at Giant Eagle, and their variety of options is definitely more vast. I can't say whether they will keep this up, or if they just put out every option to see what consumers in a new area prefer, but I really like knowing that no matter what I'm going in to buy, from fish to pies or fresh made soups, I'm going to have a wide variety to pick from. The most impressive option for me is the ability to get more non GMO products. They have an enormous organic section, and after everything I have heard about GMO and its potential side effects, the more I'm leaning towards buying organic foods. There aren't too many things I noticed that were notable negatives. They do not have a bank yet, but they're hoping to have one in the future. All the carts are stored outside, so they will be cold and possibly wet, with no other option in bad weather. The floral section is very small, and they seem to have sacrificed room where it could have been expanded to put a local school (Green Bulldogs) apparel and book store. Instead of the discount you get from buying a book at Giant Eagle, Target, or Marc's, they charge full price and send that 10% to the local school district.. Since I have no kids who go to Green, I don't feel any desire to give them the extra money, so I will buy my books elsewhere . Other than that, I really don't have anything negative to say about this store. I will definitely keep coming back. ”
